This page describes current privacy practices for titleixrespondent.com. It is general information, not a substitute for counsel review.
What this site is
Title IX Respondent (titleixrespondent.com and titleixrespondent.org) publishes free educational excerpts from Respondent and sells the book and companion through a third-party checkout. If or when we add an email signup for a checklist, that form will collect only what you enter there.
What we collect
- Email sign-up (if or when we add one): your email address and any optional role you enter, used only to send the checklist and related book notices you opt into.
- Purchases: checkout runs on Payhip, with card payments processed by Stripe. We receive order confirmation details needed for delivery (such as your email and what you bought), not full card numbers.
- Server logs: standard host logs (IP, user agent, pages requested) for security and reliability. This site uses no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts. Optional YouTube embeds on Resources load only after a click (see below).
Embedded video (Resources)
The Resources page may show a static thumbnail for an outside video. No YouTube script or iframe loads until you press play. After you press play, the video is loaded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may set its own cookies and collect data under Google’s terms. You can instead use the plain “Watch on YouTube” link. The rest of this site still loads no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts.
What we do not do
- We do not sell email addresses.
- We do not ask you to submit facts about your case through this website.
- We do not publish WHOIS contact details for the registrant beyond what privacy/proxy services already shield.
- We do not load third-party video players until you choose to play them.
